UNIT 2: DUTIES TO YOUR CLIENT

In this unit, we’ll go over how to differentiate the roles of clients and consumers and identify which roles you as an agent may perform without breaching any responsibilities or duties that may be owed to your clients. This unit will also help you better understand what you need to do to keep sensitive information about your client(s)  confidential.

By the end of this unit, you'll know how to:

• Define the obligations which real estate agents and owe to both clients and non-clients alike in transactions,  
• Dutifully fulfill your duty of client confidentiality to anyone you are officially or unofficially working with,
• Understand which duties you as an agent may perform for one client without breaching your obligations to another client.
